For the new media privacy and confidentiality totally are really crucial issues nowadays. The privacy for someone in a post involved and also the confidentiality for their information should be recognized and respected. I think social media is the platform where people come and leave their frustration and enjoyment. But before reacting or posting anything they need to consider their audience reaction. Most of the time audience's reaction is dependent on the audience's mentality, which is quite impossible to judge.
In case of using new media in the professional life and posting confidential posts on the social media also not a good idea. Sometimes people post their work life reaction or comments on the social media which also a breach of confidentiality. Even is the medical field you cant post or reveal any information of your patients without their consents, not also for education purpose. People can not literally use their social media with mixing up their personal and professional life
